Tour 09: Sa Coma, S`Illot, Porto Cristo, Cala Mendia, Cala Murada, Porto Colom The east coast with its many bays and beautiful places is on our program today. We head for the neighboring town of Sa Coma first. There is also a footpath from Cala Millor through a peninsula with a nature reserve to Sa Coma. Sa Coma also has a very beautiful and long sandy beach with hotels behind it.
S'Illot still has a small, dreamy bay with a sandy beach and many private houses. Beach hotels are not yet predominant.
The onward journey takes us to Porto Cristo, beautiful beach promenade, many sailing and motor yachts and otherwise ???.
Cala Mendia with its sandy beach is dreamy, not very big, surrounded by green slopes and mainly frequented by local residents. It's a good place to live!
Cala Murada with its sandy beach is also a very nice place to swim and relax. The great restaurant is an additional highlight!
Tourism is hardly noticeable in Porto Colom. The dreamy little town with its picturesque hilly alleyways and the fishing port with its boat sheds on the water seems to have fallen out of time. It's wonderful that something like this still exists!
